PSG Company Culture – What Makes Us Unique
Since its founding in 2017, Point Solutions Group has thrived by putting our people first. That applies to both our internal teams and the way we work with clients. And it’s part of a company culture that (we think) sets us apart in the technical services realm. Real solutions come from collaboration, flexibility and listening – not cookie cutter quick-fixes.
So, we make a point of putting the right people in the right places and really listening to what each client needs. We take our guiding mantra seriously: Work smart. Deploy the best people. Keep all data secure. And always provide customers with an efficient, “less is more” approach.
All of which means we pay attention. We saw a gap between traditional consulting and staffing firms, and we stepped in. We saw an opportunity in both the federal and commercial sectors, and we stepped up. And we knew that if we paved the way, we could create more and more opportunities for people who don’t necessarily fit the mold of traditional technical consulting firms.
We Foster Diversity
From the top of our leadership team on down, we strive to create a company culture that includes diverse perspectives. We closed out 2021 at 35 percent diverse – a somewhat remarkable statistic in the tech industry. We’ve also got an all-female executive team, which is pretty dang rare as well. But we’d love to see that change. That’s why we’re committed to mentoring leaders within our organization and our communities. PSG wants to be a beacon for the next generation of opportunity in technology.
We Strive for Flexibility
We don’t push single solutions on our clients or our employees. Part of being a badass company is understanding that every person and every technical challenge is unique. What works in one situation might not work in another. And if our people want to grow and learn, we’re absolutely interested in letting them. We want to enjoy our jobs and the people we work with, which means always being open to input and new ideas.
We Cultivate Trust
Our team is trusted by some of the most notable Commercial and Government customers to solve complex problems and provide maximum security. We take that trust seriously. We also trust our people to make the right call. If a client’s needs are outside our wheelhouse, we let them know. We’re not about taking the easy road over the right road. Integrity matters to us, big time. As a company, we do the right thing, we put in the work, and we treat people well.
We Do It Right
For something to be on point is for it to be “exactly right” or “perfect.” That’s what we’re here for. PSG is dedicated to providing on point solutions to our customers’ intricate challenges. We are on the lookout for inefficiencies, technical overlap or duplications of work. We ensure their systems start running at maximum efficiency and security. And we take pride in delivering on our promise to get things right.
We Live Our Values
At heart, we want the people working at and with PSG to feel like what they do matters, and to know that we have their back. That’s what our company culture is all about. And it requires operating by a set of values that are both meaningful and actionable. These aren’t a bunch of buzzwords to us. They’re our north star.
Consistent action and interaction is critical to our process and company culture. We’re in the trenches. We’re accountable. We follow-up, and deliver on what we’ve promised.

We Also Tend to Win Awards
You’ll notice humility isn’t on that list. But we do try to be somewhat low-key about our bragging. Nevertheless, other people have definitely noticed that we’re rocking it. In 2020, we were selected from a list of nearly a thousand nominees as a top Colorado Company to Watch. And in 2021, we made the lists of Colorado’s Top 100 Woman Owned Companies and Top 200 Private Companies. On the national level, we made it into the top 500 of Inc. Magazine’s annual list of America’s 5,000 fastest growing companies. So, that’s pretty cool.
And We Have Fun
We take security seriously. We take providing the best possible service seriously, too. But we also like to remember that at the end of the day, we’re all people who want to love what we do. PSG began as a scrappy little start up, and we take pride in a company culture that has a bit of an edge. You might even call us feisty. Which makes working with us and for us a lot more fun for everyone.
